Keltie Collins

Keltie was the owner/founder & Artistic Director of Kennebec Dance Center in Augusta, Maine. In 2012, she received the honor of winning the prestigious “Presidents Award” from the Kennebec Vallee Chamber of Commerce. Earlier in her career, spent several years studying dance in NYC,  with such greats as jazz guru, Luigi and legendary tap dancer, Phil Black. She was a class assistant for Ben Vereen and Gus Giordano at Dance Educators of America and certified by DEA as well.   Several of her students accomplished accolades such as, performing on Broadway, Radio City Rockettes, Bill T. Jones Dance Company, to name a few. Keltie accompanied 3 of her students to The International Ballet & Modern Competition in Nagoya, Japan. Taught & choreographed along side of Andrei Bossov, former principal dancer of the Kirov Ballet. In 2016, she sold her studio and the business. 5 years after selling , she missed the artistic side of her life, teaching & choreographing.  The opportunity to teach at Drouin Dance Center came at the perfect time and filled the void she missed so much. Keltie absolutely loves her new dance home…DDC!
