Rebecca Woll
Rebecca was a founding member of the Isadora Duncan Youth Ensemble with which she toured internationally for over 10 years as a soloist in Prague, Budapest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and around the United States including Hawaii, Virginia, and multiple New York City Venues. She has a bachelor’s degree in Dance and English from Connecticut College and a Master’s degree in Motor Learning and Control from Columbia University. Rebecca has been a member of Naomi Goldberg Haas / Dances for a Variable Population, and BE Dance Collective and was a founding member, choreographer, and director of operations for isadoraNOW, a contemporary dance company. Rebecca is also a 5th generation Duncan dancer with direct lineage to Isadora Duncan and access to much of the Duncan repertoire. She has had the opportunity to perform with David Dorfman Dance’s “Underground” project at Lincoln Center’s “Out of Doors” festival and has performed original works by Lisa Race, Alexandra Beller, Doug Elkins, Dan Wagoner, Jeremy Nelson and Heidi Henderson among others. Rebecca’s choreography has been as been seen and produced by Joyce SoHo in NYC as part of the theater’s season, Jennifer Muller and the Work’s presenting series “The Hatch” (NYC), Merce Cunningham Studios (NYC), American College Dance Festival (Williams College), Connecticut College, Belvoir Terrace (Lenox, MA), and numerous high schools throughout New York and Connecticut.
